How to Play Battleship

- Each player gets a grid sheet and secretly draws their ships on the grid.

- Players take turns calling out grid coordinates (like B5 or D3).

- If a ship occupies that square, the other player says "Hit"; otherwise, "Miss".

- Mark hits and misses on your grid to track your guesses.

- The first player to sink all of the opponent’s ships wins!

The History of Battleship

Battleship began its life back in 1931, when the Starex Novelty Company released it as a pencil-and-paper game called “Salvo.” It wasn’t until 1967 that Milton Bradley turned it into the classic plastic board game version that families still enjoy today.
